Sometimes I like to play my acoustic and sing at the same time, and record. It's pretty handy therefore to use the Piezo to get the guitar-only signal .
Now as we all know Piezo sounds like Donald Duck playing a toy guitar with elastic bands for strings.
So I'm wondering how anyone else does this, when they want the ease of DI for the guitar but then want to improve that sound?
Before anyone says, yes I know there's nothing like mic'ing up a real guitar etc etc, but that's not what I'm asking here.
I've actually had a big improvement by:
1. Not using a plectrum, strumming gently with finger or thumb
2. EQ ing
3. Some VST plugins can help, I use:
ACOUSTIC VOICE GUITAR PREAMP
